French Onion Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

A hearty, cheesy, and flavorful dish perfect for family dinners!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice

2 cups beef broth

1 large onion (thinly sliced)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried thyme

Salt & pepper (to taste)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup French onion dip

Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Caramelize Onions: Sauté onions in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown (15-20 min).

2. Cook Beef: Push onions aside, brown ground beef, and season with garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

3. Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine beef, onions, uncooked rice, beef broth, and French onion dip.

4. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), transfer mixture to a greased 9×13” dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 min.

5. Add Cheese: Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella, and bake uncovered for 10-15 min until bubbly.

6. Serve: Let cool, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
